Kesaraju Venkateswara Rao Memorial Endowment Fund (KVRMEF)

KVRMEF is a registered non-profit social charitable organization established to assist Poor/orphaned/underprivilidged children,finacially destitute women.It is founded in Jan.2017 by Dr.Deepika Kesaraju-Obstetrician & Gynecologist,and Venkata Harish Kesaraju -Retired Bank Official.

The co-founders are the lineal descendants of late Sri Kesaraju Venkateswar Rao,who lived in Patharlapahad Village,Chintakani Mandal of Khammam District in the state of Telangana during the period from 1886 to 1968.Following his principles of living,his sons-late Sri K V Chalapathi Rao -(Retired as Director Social Welfare Dept),Late Sri K V Sreenivas Rao-(Retired as Chief Engineer General,Chairman of A P State Electricity Board),Late K V Subba Rao-(Retired as Chief Engineer) and late Dr.K V Janardhan Rao-(died in train accident at a very young age as Medical Officer) rose to eminent positions during post Independence period.They held very hig positions in government and served the society and led illustrious life.

Our Vision

The problems of poverty,illiteracy is still dominant in rural areas of our country.The path out of poverty begins when the next generation can access great Education.The Founders of the Trust firmly believe that poor children if encouraged and given an oppurtunity can excel and become responsible citizens in the community.Educated children bring name and fame to their parents,family.Our vision is to extend a helping hand to the under privileged poor,abandoned,orphaned children in their studies and give them the love and care they deserve of which they are deprived of.They should lead a life full of social dignity.We aim for their bright future with a sustainable livelihood. EMPOWER the poor children and women to transform their lives.

Effective from academic year 2016-2017 the Trust started giving Late K V SREENIVAS RAO MERIT SCHOLARSHIP to X class pass out merit students (3) of ZPHS Patharlapahad (Chintakani Mandal, Khammam District) besides distributing study materials to other students of the School.

The Scholorship helps the student in partly meeting tuition fee, cost of books, uniform, school bags etc.This motivates the student to pursue higher education.
Effective from academic year 2022-2023, the Trust instituted Annual Medical Scholarship Award to one poor MBBS student in honor of late Dr. K V Janardhan Rao.
The Medical Scholorship carries a cash award of Rs.20000/-
